Art Attack 2026 – Lubeznik At Commune+Market

April 26 @ 10:00 am - April 27 @ 3:00 pm
Lebeznik at Commune Market Graphic

Each year, art lovers flock to Southwest Michigan for Art Attack, the eclectic, interactive celebration founded by Rita and Jennifer Cochran of Local Color Gallery. The popular, weekend-long event features gallery receptions, artist workshops, demonstrations, open houses, studio tours and more — making it a must-attend spring tradition.

For 2026, LCA is curating a special “mini-fest” at Commune+Market in Three Oaks, showcasing eleven dynamic artists: Teneia Delosa, Michael Hedges, Jon Hook of Hook Pottery Paper, Michael Janosky, Janis Kanter, Kate Keesling, Frank Kurland, Jeffrey Lane, Nancy Natow-Cassidy, Ish Muhammad and Alex Velazquez-Brightbill (pictured). Known for producing its own annual August art festival featuring 80 artists, LCA brings its curatorial expertise — and a wide range of artistic styles and perspectives — to Harbor Country.

“We are so excited to have a presence in Southwest Michigan,” said Janet Bloch, LCA Executive Director. “We’re ready to cross the ‘invisible great wall’ between Indiana and Michigan and introduce Harbor Country to the vibrant arts experiences Lubeznik Center has to offer.”

Lubeznik Center for the Arts at Commune+Market in Three Oaks will be open Saturday, April 25, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, April 26, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. (all times Eastern). For more information, contact Jessie Sexton, LCA’s Marketing Manager, at (219) 874-4900 or jsexton@lubeznikcenter.org.
